Bio
Hello! I am Tao Xie (谢涛), an incoming direct-entry Ph.D. student at the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS). I will join the Institute of Information Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IIE, CAS) in Fall 2027 under the supervision of Prof. Zheng Lin.
I am currently a final-year undergraduate in the Outstanding Engineer Class of Automation at Guangdong University of Technology, advised by Prof. Yiqun Zhang at the OMG Lab. I also work closely with Prof. Yiu-ming Cheung through research collaboration and academic exchange.
I work in AI, aiming to combine good research taste with solid engineering skills.
My previous research focused on interpretable sequence modeling and feature interaction, primarily in time-series settings. I studied temporal dependencies and cross-variable interactions for applications including early risk prediction, anomaly detection, and decision support.
My current research interests focus on large language models (LLMs) and natural language processing (NLP).
Beyond research and work, I cherish individual independence and sincere exchanges of thought, journeying through life’s trials in a lifelong quest for love and freedom.

我目前是广东工业大学自动化卓越工程师班本科四年级学生，在 OMG 实验室师从张逸群教授，并与张晓明教授保持密切的科研合作与学术交流。
我从事 AI 相关的工作，希望兼具良好的研究品味与扎实的工程能力。
此前，我的研究聚焦于可解释的序列建模与特征交互，主要以时间序列为研究场景。我研究时序依赖与跨变量交互，应用于早期风险预测、异常检测和辅助决策等任务。
目前，我的研究兴趣集中于大语言模型（LLM）与自然语言处理（NLP）。
在科研与工作之外，我珍视个体的独立与真诚的思想交流，历经人生的考验，终身追寻爱与自由。
